Over the 15 + years of my photographic journey my aim has remained the same; to capture captivating and meaningful images that tell a story. My energies are spent in the area of social documentary. I am studying at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. I am constantly seeking involvement in projects that concern the human condition and social justice issues.
In addition to my documentary photography experience, I have extensive knowledge in visual story telling for nonprofit organizations and have helped many charities and NPO's raise awareness through dynamic and meaningful photography. I have been fortunate enough to have world-renowned photographers the likes of David Allen Harvey, Shelby Lee Adams and Sarah Stacke review and critique my portfolio.
My affiliations include: The National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), North Carolina Press Photographers Association (NCPPA), The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), and the Asheville Area Arts Council.
I am available for assignment or project collaboration.
