Pleasant Grove, UT, USA
I joined the U.S. Army spent 6.5 years with the 7th Infantry Division then the 82d Airborne. I was all I could be back then; Sniper School, Ranger School, then after a TDY with 7th Special Forces Group, I went to the Q-course. Passed everything then assigned to B co. 2d Battalion 19th I spent another four years with my team; most of the time tasked out to other units deploying who needed a medic.
I left my entire term of service in August 2004, where I moved from Utah to Colorado, where I lived until about 5 years ago. In 2010, I was declared 100% disabled by the VA, so I decided to take up photography full-time.
I have traveled to around the world, lived in Mexico for a couple years and became a Padi Scuba Staff Instructor.
I have been working full-time as a photographer for the last 10 years, taking pictures of everything and everyone from the U.S to Mexico, Australia, Fiji and Palau. More recently, I have been acting as a photojournalist, following local stories in the U.S and especially along the US/Mexico border.
