I have been a professional photographer for the last 20 years. It is with a journey to Borneo focusing on orang-utans that I began to work extensively on primates. I published several books and dozen of stories compiling all these years working on apes & monkeys around the world.
Although particularly fascinated by the tropics, I also enjoy working on the wildlife around my house, in the French countryside, and my last feature (during these last 3 years) was about amphibians underwater.
My goal is to tell stories and therefore I view my photographic work as one of a reporter.
I feel very concerned by the state of the planet and I hope that my images contribute to showing some of the wonders of the planet’s wildlife and landscape but also participate in alerting the public opinion on the biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation and therefore help initiatives involved in habitat and wildlife protection in the field.
