Dan Agostini

Dan Agostini is a documentary photographer based in Brazil, graduated and specialized in contemporary art.
Currently, she/they develops documentary projects collaborating with national and international vehicles, teaches photojournalism, is a member of Native Agency, Women Photograph, and co-founder of Coletivo Doroteia.
In her/their work, photography is used mainly as a tool for reflection to construction of narratives related to gender issues in countries through Asia, the Middle East and Brazil.
Dan was one of the winners of the Poylatam in 2017. In 2018 was also selected in the collective exhibitions at the Photography Festivals / BR. In 2019 Dan was selected at the workshop Women Photograph / EC and participated in the collective exhibition at Tiradentes Photography Festival / BR. In 2020 Dan was selected by the emergency fund for journalists, by National Geographic, participated in the collective exhibition “Qué nos urge?” / AR, and Mídia Ninja Foto/BR. In 2021 Dan received the award This is gender, second and third place, Global Health 50/50.
