Inspired by documentary photography and photojournalism, Daniel works on location for local and international clients. His corporate and editorial work has appeared in the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, National Post, Profits, Advantage, The Walrus, SNOB (Russia), American Lawyer, and Fortune Magazine.
Commercial clients include XM Satellite Radio, Proctor & Gamble, BDC, Ikea, Invesco, Shaw Media, Porter, McMillan, TD Canada Trust, Rotman, Rogers, U of T, and the CBC.
An enthusiastic collaborator, Daniel works with art directors and agencies throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe to produce editorial, annual report, and web-based projects. These include Cossette, Zync, Agency Code, Jar Creative, Bang Marketing, Atelier MUY (Switzerland) Doug Agency, AdFarm, Dalet (U.S.), and Complex Media (U.S).
He has worked in more than thirty countries, shooting ethnically cleansed homes in Kosovo, skateboarders in Reykjavik, whirling dervishes in Istanbul, and rough and tumble boxers in Belfast.
Daniel studied History, near and Middle Eastern Civilizations, and Fine Art History at the University of Toronto.
He works in Toronto and lives in his head.
