Frontline Freelance Register
Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador
I'm a multimedia journalist specialized on international news gathering in hostile environments. Born in Ecuador, South America.
For one decade I have worked freelance for several news channels and international news agencies, among them: "Reuters TV", "Deutsche Welle", "CNN in Spanish," "RCN of Colombia" and "Channel One of Colombia" and collaborated with "Getty Images", "AFP", "AP" and "Demotix" like a Photographer.
At the moment I am an active member of "Frontline Freelance Register" (FFR) and with a background as a multimedia photojournalist, my skills on camera work, photography, editing and dispatch of footage on the way, make myself a self-sufficient journalist
One of my top stories is the eruption of Tungurahua Volcano that has lasted 15 years since the first activation, providing dozens of stories around the affected area.
Other important topic on my career was the coup attempt, that unruly police officers caused on Ecuador on 2010. With amazing footage of the constant aggressions against president Rafael Correa that ended with a five casualties. This was one of the most viewed stories on the media around the globe for over a week.
With the capacity of a quick response and all the technical equipment, including satellite devices and safety gear, I am ready to cover stories all around the globe.
