David Moskowitz

David Moskowitz works as a freelance photographer and writer. His work typically focuses on wildlife, natural history, landscapes, outdoor adventure, conservation and environmental justice topics. He is the photographer and author of two books, Wolves in the Land of Salmon, and Wildlife of the Pacific Northwest, with two more books currently in prep. His work has appeared in Outside Magazine, The New York Times, and High Country News among other places. David commonly works in a wide variety challenging outdoor settings. His expertise with camera trapping and background as a wildlife biologist has allowed him to capture captivating images of some of the most illusive creatures in western North America.
