For 22 years, I managed the process of nominating Wall Street Journal reporters for the various journalism prizes, including the Pulitzer Prize. Worked with reporters, editors and artists to make sure all of the required information was assembled for the various award judging committees. Handled all communication between the Journal and the various contest coordinators. During my tenure working for both the news and editorial departments, the Journal won 22 Pulitzer Prizes, more than two dozen Gerald Loeb Awards, 14 Overseas Press Club Awards and a dozen George Polk Awards, in addition to hundreds of other prizes from organizations such as the Society of Professional Journalists, the Scripps Howard Foundation, the National Press Club and the Associated Press Media Editors.
