Det Kempke studied photography at the University of Applied Siences
and Arts in Dortmund and graduated with a degree in foto an film design.
He has been a freelance photographer since 1990 working in New York, London, and Paris and all over Germany of course.
Since 2010 he developed his work into the field of film
and started working as a director and DoP.
Det Kempke ́s images always tell a story and his scenic design can either be pure or very lavish.
In his work , he uses modern technologies such a CGI.
He lives in Hamburg ansd works for various well-known clients, like agencies and publishers.
