Seoul, South Korea
Born in pre-war Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1986. Having an experience with being a refugee myself — my family fled the war '90s Balkan Wars — I developed an intense interest in issues of human rights, forced displacement and marginalized communities.
I specialize in collaborating on long-term projects with NGOs and media, focusing on telling strong stories through portraiture and documentary-style reporting.
Currently based in Seoul, South Korea, always on the move.
I speak Slovak (and Czech), Bosnian (and Croatian and Serbian), English and German as a native speaker. I'm at home with Macedonian and Italian.
Published on The Wall Street Journal, Internazionale, La Repubblica. Worked with JRS, MSF, CIR, and ICMC.
