Drey Mide is a Visual Storyteller and a Conceptual Artist from Nigeria. His interests focuses on human stories that revolve around our heritage and circumstantial economy that creates consciousness about social issues in Africa and its varied perspectives.
Photography is art and he's adopted it as a tool to not only tell stories but to educate and envisage a better atmosphere in the society.
He began working in photography in 2017, exploring street documentary and creative twists to Conceptual Art Photography.
To his record, he received certificate training in Photography at the Unabashed/Abuja Enterprise Photography Workshop in 2018, Canon Miraisha Programme/FootPrints of David in Lagos 2019, and as well attended TNC 2019. He is a member of APJD (Africa Photo-Journalism Database).
He has worked on notable documentary, to mention a few; Dream diaries, The Potter, Chronicles of Lagos life, Elections matters, Onidiri and so on.
He currently lives and works as an independent photographer and short-film maker in Abuja, Nigeria.
