Duae is a collective and collaborative platform operating in the field of contemporary visual researches, founded in 2015 by Luna Coppola and Silvia Campidelli.
Duae it’s created by the meeting between two persons with different backgrounds: a photographer, and an artist .
Duae is based in Barcelona (Spain) and focuses on the development of artistic researches and projects. Duae is committed to designing, self publishing and distributing its works as limited edition books and other printed matters of photographers and artists.
The projects and artistic researches of Duae investigates through travels in real or virtual spaces, the relationship between the human being and the environment, working on mixed geographies and micro-geographies to explore new narrative forms and representations using different medias. Duae believes that the reality is not fixed and determined but is continually shaped by the types of actions and narratives we make of it.
The projects and artistic research of Duae, besides being self-produced, are the result of collaborations and commissions foundations, museums, artist residency programs and grants.
