Edu Bayer is a NY-based award-winning documentary photographer and photojournalist with a strong humanistic vision and a unique ability for capturing intimate, deep and authentic moments.With more than 10 years of experience, he has worked for most leading international newspapers and magazines. He is the recipient of accolades such as Picture of the Year Winner, Pulitzer Prize Finalist and Fotopress finalist.
He has worked in over 15 countries and has shown his photography in exhibits in New York, Berlin, Budapest, Habana, Valparaiso,and Barcelona.
Born in Barcelona, Edu studied Chemical Engineering and photography, and holds a Master’s degree from the Danish School of Media and Journalism. He is currently based in New York city. Edu is fluent in English and Spanish, and is available for general news assignments , documentary journalism, portraits and commercial work.
