Edwin J. Torres is a photojournalist and documentary photographer based in in New York City. He graduated from Colby College in May of 2012 with a Bachelors in American Studies. He dedicates his work to telling stories about family and inner city communities. He currently works as a freelance photojournalist for the New York Time, ProPublica, and The Groundtruth Project. He volunteers his time at the Bronx Documentary Center.
