What amazes me about photography is its power to set direct communication between the way you look at things and the way you understand them. It is through images, the ones that remain at the very end, the ones that are kept in memory and reflection, that I explore reality, searching for surprise and emotion in its comprehension. I photograph what strikes me in order to reconstruct my world. I love learning and understanding other points of view: Graduate in Fine Arts from the ULL, 1996. Workshops with Javier Vallhonrat, Valentín Vallhonrat, Eduardo Momeñe, José Manuel Navia and Matías Costa (2010-2015). Course of Specialization in Contemporary Photography (2013) and Annual Course of Photographic Projects Development Photo+ (2014), with Mónica Lozano. Selected for Discoveries PHOTOESPAÑA 2015.
I move towards moments and places that I have lived internally, I focusse on forming their image in my mind with the elements I extract from the context. The house, the island, topics narrowly anchored in the idea of refuge, become windows opened to that space captured by the imagination. I accede to it through circular routes, with the complicity of the nature and in a close contact with the land.
