HI! My name is Elizabeth, and I am available for freelance and client work in Las Vegas, Nevada and surrounding areas.
I have had the opportunity to study in Hawaii and abroad in South Sudan learning in depth about current action being taken against human trafficking, poverty, violence and war. I studied past examples in history and applying that knowledge to understand ways to respond to oppression across the nations and in my own community. My time abroad helped cultivate a deeper passion for humanity and was combined with my passion for photography and storytelling. I strive to integrate my passion for life and people with the powerful tool of my camera. That time abroad birthed a fervor to get a degree in Photojournalism with a focus in Arabic and Youth and Education Leadership at the University of Minnesota. From the U of M, working at the MN Daily, and interning at the Startribune. From there I was hired as a staff visual journalist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. I remain in the Las Vegas Valley doing freelance work. I am eager to see how my story continues to unfold.
