Lyon, France
Photographer and multimedia author living and working in Lyon, Elizabeth is local correspondent for numerous national publications (Le Monde, Libé, La Croix, L’Express, Marianne). Her photographic work is distributed by the Parisian agency Picturetank. She routinely works with NGOs, such as Médecins du Monde (missions in Bolivia, Lebanon, and Iran) and Habitat for Humanity. Her university education as a scientific researcher (a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics) instilled in her an insatiable curiosity to know, understand, and share.
From homosexuality in Cameroon to a long-term portrait of Mgr Barbarin, from the media-friendly campaign of the young socialist minister Najat Belkacem to the urban and human transformations of Lyon’s suburbs, Elisabeth is always and everywhere pursuing her quest of human discovery. In 2008, she founded the multimedia collective “The Womps”. “Duchoramas, the Story of a Neighborhood in Transition,” is online through a partnership with Le Progrès. She is now developing the transmedias documentary project “Memories Cut Short / The Secret’s drawer” (www.lesmemoirescourtes.com).
