Emeric Fohlen
Paris, France
I was born in Paris France in 1985.
After studying Communication and spending two years working as an Art Director in a advertising company, I traveled for a year across Asia from Beijing to Bangkok. It is then that I confirmed my passion for reportage and decided to switch to photojournalism.
Back in Paris in 2012, I started to work as a independent documentary photographer covering politic and social news stories while expanding my perceptions of photography.
Then in 2014, I started to build a long-term project focused on the underground culture in Tunisia and its social impact on a post-revolution society.
With an interest in youth and subcultures, my work mainly focuses on both individual identity and social groups.
I work on assignments for Paris Match, VSD, L’OBS, Le Pèlerin, La Vie, Al-Jazeera, Jeune Afrique, Le Figaro.
