Emily H. Johnson is a freelance multimedia journalist who has worked in East Africa, Indonesia, Burma, India and New York. She has reported for PRI's The World, Agence France-Presse, The Christian Science Monitor, Al Jazeera, Fusion, Mother Jones, America Abroad, and Free Speech Radio News. She has also taught multimedia reporting as an adjunct professor at Baruch College.
Alumna of the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism ('10) and Reporters Instructed in Saving Colleagues (RISC) training. Member of NPPA and the Frontline Freelance Register.
Currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Available for radio, photo and video assignments worldwide.
