Erin Lee is a portrait & documentary photographer available for studio & on-location commissions or editorial assignments within Australia or internationally.
Erin was previously based in Mexico City where she worked as a freelance photojournalist and published with outlets such as CNN, The Guardian, Vice, Financial Times, Broadly, The Advocate, Frankie; and others. Erin recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Photography, teaches at Photography Studies College, and is represented by Le Space Gallery in Melbourne, Australia.
Her personal work has been exhibited internationally and Erin has been selected for artist residencies in Venezuela, France, Morocco, Algeria and Australia. Her photobooks have been shortlisted for the Lucie Foundation Photobook Prize, the Perimeter x Photo 2020 International Photobook Prize, Kassel Dummy Award and included in The PhotoBook Museum in Cologne.
Erin's most recent personal work, The Crimson Thread was nominated for the PhMuseum Women Photographers Grant 2022, Solo Show at PhMuseum Lab, as a Photolucida Critical Mass 2022 finalist and for the C/O Berlin Talent Award 2023.
