Erwan, born in 1985, has a geography formation and do regularly missions with MSF on emergency projects, as in refugee camps in Tanzania.
Arrived in Burkina Faso 3 years ago as part of a project to update the mapping of the country, Erwan decided to devote himself fully to his passion for documentary photography.
In visit in Europe to see his family, his plane lands on the evening of 29 October in Ouagadougou. Next morning the National Assembly was in flames. The Blaise Compaoré regime drew to a close. It was his first direct experience with the uprising of a people … a revolution. Therefore, he decide to follow the entire process leading the Burkina Faso to democratic elections
He has exhibited his work on the popular uprising in Ouagadougou and he also had the opportunity to exhibit in Nyarugusu camp – Tanzania, some portraits of refugees made in the same camp for the World Refugee Day 2015 in partnership with the UNHCR.
