Wendy Catling was born in a small country town in Australia in 1958. In 1983 she earned a BFA with high distinction from Chisholm Institute of Technology (now Monash University), majoring in printmaking and photography. She worked as a textile designer, theatre designer, improvisor of sound and lighting and theatre administrator during 15 years living in London, UK. Wendy has been teaching art and photography since 2001 and is now based in Melbourne, Australia with her husband, Peter Miller, a sound designer, composer and digital artist. Wendy’s prints are held in the collections of Warrnambool Art Gallery, the Australian National Gallery and private collections.
