Ellie Van Houtte is a photographer and multimedia storyteller dedicated to documenting community stories. In addition to working on feature assignments for editorial clients in Ohio and across the U.S., she also helps international organizations tell their stories through visual communications.
Throughout her career, Ellie has focused on connecting people together through communications. Ellie’s experiences range from documenting stories about climate change, women’s economic empowerment & electoral mobilization from communities across the world to leading social media and digital communications at the U.S. Agency for International Development. With experience as a photojournalist and writer for local and international news outlets, Ellie is also a passionate storyteller who brings clarity to complex subjects.
