African Photojournalism Database
Fawaz Oyedeji (b. 1997) is a documentary photographer from Lagos, Nigeria.
With a background in mass-communication and history education, his interests focuses on storytelling that relay human experiences in Africa and its varied perspectives.
Fawaz is a member of African Photojournalism Database (APJD) a joint project by World Press Photo Foundation and Everyday Africa. His stories has been exhibited at the African Artists’ Foundation in Lagos. He's an awardee of the annual Fashola Photo Foundation contest and a participant of the 2018 LagosPhoto/Canon Storytelling Master-class.

YOURS IN ARMS
is an ongoing project exploring the life of STUDENTS who are committed to conserving the history of a civilian run infantry at an institution in the city of Lagos. These individuals are reflected in parts of the school, uncovering their ability to fuse both semi-military and personal journey together.
