Fernanda Rocha
Women Photograph
Milán, Italia
Argentinian freelance photographer and visual storyteller based in Italy and available worldwide. Member of Women Photograph.
I have a degree in Social Communication from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (Argentina) and I have attended various courses and workshops related to Photography and Photojournalism in Argentina, Dominican Republic and Spain.
I worked in different areas within Communication, and since 2013 also as wedding, lifestyle, food and product photographer, in Argentina and Dominican Republic, where I lived for almost 5 years.
As I collaborated with Everyday Dominican Republic (The Everyday Projects), I became more interested in Documentary Photography.
Since 2019 I live in Italy, where I have my freelance project as commercial photographer at the same time that I develop my career as documentary photographer with special interest on issues related to my personal intimacy, identity, women, migration, culture, human rights and environment.
In 2020 I began to participate in The Journal Collective, women photographers from all over the world, documenting and creating a community as a result of the pandemic caused by Covid-19.
