Filippo is a journalist and writer for the Italian newspaper La Repubblica. He was formerly a producer for RAI in New York. He has reported on the world of arts, technology, human rights and finance for publications such as Il Sole 24 Ore, L’Espresso, Wired, El Mercurio (Chile) and The Huffington Post (US and French editions). He has interviewed directors (Spielberg, Lucas, Eastwood, Nolan), outcasts, covered the top dog film/music festivals and written reportage stories on subjects as varied as the Detroit bankruptcy and islamophobia in the United States. His epistolary novel, Il primo latte, has been illustrated by Fellini's assistant Mauro Cicarè, with a short-film played by Asia Argento.
