Fjona is a freelance documentary photographer based in the UK. Having previously practiced as a medical doctor, Fjona followed her creative aspirations into a new career in photography. She is drawn to explore the issues of community and isolation, inclusion and stigma. She has explored these subjects internationally, particularly focusing on the stigma reaped from injustices such as human trafficking, rape and slavery. At home, Fjona looks at the dynamics of contemporary society following an immersive long term approach.
