Driven by my natural creative spark, I started making photographs as a teenager. First, experimenting with portraiture and landscape before progressing to fashion and still life while in higher education.
Upon graduation in 2010, I began working as a commercial photographer, specialising in live music, portraiture and product. I quickly established myself and hold standing commissions with esteemed clients such as News International and BBC, including privileged coverage of music festivals Rockness and T in the Park. Other commercial clients include: AISUS Offshore, Breo, DC Thomson & Co, Kiltmakers.co.uk and Universal News & Sport.
Throughout my time as a freelance creative professional I have also taken a number of design jobs for clients including Oran Dementia Support and Alpine Party Tours. In February 2013, I was commissioned to make my first music video. In the following 12 months I made several more, as well as a number of other visuals for online publication.
I possess a unique artistic vision and consistent aesthetic sensibility with regard to colour, composition and themes. This is illustrated by my work as co-founder and creative director of the music and art collective Domicile Crocodile along with friends and long term creative collaborators. I have created photography, video and design work to acclaim from culture websites The 405 and Pitchfork blog Nothing Major.
