Frank Hesjedal
Horten
I am a freelance photographer from Norway. I make photos to understand myself and the world we are living in. I always try to express the view and feelings I have upon the people and the world that I photograph. An ongoing theme in my photography is alienation and loneliness in a big and overwhelming world. But I also try to capture hope and beauty in its people and its places.
I am also the editor of the Norwegian online photo magazine and community foto.no. Thus, I make a living out of writing about my passion: photography. I studied sociology and political science at University of Bergen, Norway, and at University of Auckland, New Zealand.
