Fernando Frazão (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1987) is a photojournalist residing in Rio de Janeiro. Fond of visual arts and sports, brought from childhood his passion to play with cameras. Decided to pursue a career in photography after a Bachelor in Journalism at UFRJ (Rio de Janeiro's Federal University) 2009. The most recent work was the coverage of Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Professional life began as an internship at Lance!, a sports specialized daily newspaper. By 2009, joined the O Globo newspaper photographers team. In 2010 he was one of the awarded photographers in the Photo Contest CNA / SENAR. Attended the 28th Curso Abril de Jornalismo in 2011 and joined the Veja Rio magazine team.
He began collaborating for various publications of Editora Abril and also Folha de São Paulo, in addition to engage in personal projects. Staff photographer of the news agency Agência Brasil, a division of the national communications company EBC, has seen his work published and spread around since 2013.
