Photography is a language everyone understands. It creates curiosity where understanding lacks. It opens a dialogue where society breaks apart. Therefore I put the focus of my work on social and political issues – without falling into a blind activism.
I think it is important to meet my protagonists on eye level. I deal with sensitive situations calmly and and have an unintrusive way of working.
Currently I am studying Photojournalism and Documentary Photography in Hanover, Germany.
