Born in 1973, he begins his first photographs when he was a teenager. After a BA in Economics, he turned to photography because of a report on the agroforests of Sumatra produced for the Ushuaia foundation. For several years he will assist fashion photographers in Paris while continuing to make documentaries reports and portraits.
In 2000, he spent a year in Japan as a correspondent for the REA agency, and will carry out several topics for various titles of the French press. That's where he asserted his art. After 6 months Bulagria, he returned to France in spring 2003. He has worked for french and international press, mainly portraits. From 2004 to 2011 he produced about 300 portraits of writers and other personalities. Meanwhile he worked on assignment for Communication and Advertising (Campaign for the radio RTL, Citroen, Elior annual report, EDF, Ministry of Culture, MACIF insurance, Best Western ...).
As a portraitist is now recognized by the press (Libération, Le Monde, La Croix, The Times, The Guardian , die Welt...) and communication agencies. In 2008 he was a finalist of the Hasselblad Masters.
He now defines his documentary work as "solutions photojournalism" as shown in the subject: emedecine in Western Africa, Orchestra in School..
He's a member of the cooperative agency Picturetank, since 2005.
He’s co-founder of Flipshot Capture, a startup developping a new kind of photography for tablets and smartphones.
In November 2015 he starts to collaborate with Hans Lucas Agency.
In 2019, he starts a collective of solution journalists based in Paris: LaReplique
