Gilles Crampes has been working as a freelance photographer since 1994. From that time on, he has focused his work both on a long series of reportages, in particular in Asia, and on social topics he has actually carried through for several years in France.
His reportages appeared in the international press - Newsweek, National Geographic France, The Independent, Le Monde, Le Figaro Magazine, etc - and are currently on show at Visa Pour l’Image. A close cooperation with Grands Reportages magazine has also allowed him to achieve contracts over all the continents since 2002.
With his work as a photojournalist, one can also note a strong activity linked to advertising and blue chips clients.
In september 2016 his book 'Paris Célébrations' has been published, based on a five years work on all the cultures, spiritualities and religions from all over the world in Paris.
