Giovanni Chianese

Giovanni Chianese is a young photographer that loves travelling. He based in Naples where he was born in 1976. He discovered his love for photography thanks to a young photographer he met on one of his journeys.
His desire to learn and improve his photo sensibility led him to take part in several workshops, some of which were held by famous photographers, like Richard Tuschman and Robert Herman.
In 2014 he took part in a collective exhibition “Contaminazioni (Contamination)” organized in Naples by a local association called “Flegrea Photo Association”.
In 2015 he was one of the finalists for the International Contemporary Art Prize. After meeting Richard Tuschman, he started working on the Loneliness Project, currently published on Lensculture: one of his shots is among the top-rated section titled 'Visual Storytelling'.
In 2015 he was published on C41 - Magazine.
In December 2015 he completed the London Tourism Project.
In March 2016 was one of the finalists for Slideluck Trieste.
In April 2016 he held a solo exhibition by LO.FT Locali Fotografici Lecce (Italy).
In May 2016 he held a solo exhibition held at Fotografia Europea International Festival Photography - Off Circuit - in Reggio Emilia (Italy)
In May 2016 he took part at London Photo Festival.
In July 2016 he studied Fashion Photography at London University of Arts - Central Saint Martins.
