Dallas, TX, United States
Hi. Call me Gerry.
I am a photographer with more than a decade of newspaper experience, currently on staff at The Dallas Morning News, where I've been about seven years. Before that, I worked at the Columbia Daily Tribune in mid-Missouri, and The Paris News in northeast Texas.
I am a bread-and-butter, daily assignments photographer, which means I do a little bit of everything -- news, features, portraits, sports, etc.; sometimes shooting stills, sometimes video, and often both. I like it that way -- variety is the spice of life.
What else do you want to know? I was born in El Paso and raised down on the other end of the Texas-Mexico border in Laredo. I love music, great cinema and a good book. I also like a nice cup of coffee.
I live in northeast Dallas with my wife, Michelle, and our son, Morris.
Please contact me if you have any questions at all, are interested in hiring me, or just want to say hi back.
Thanks for your time.
