Kate is a lifestyle photographer committed to expanding representation of gender, race, and queerness in media. She works with advertising, editorial, and commercial clients like New York Times, Washington Post Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Planned Parenthood, Apple, Amazon, Kodak, American Express, and others. She is particularly interested in women's issues, spirituality, and arts and culture.
Kate has been recognized with awards from PDN, Women Photograph, Women Photojournalists of Washington (WPOW), and FotoWeekDC. She was named one of Refinery29’s 30 Under 30 and Heroine Magazine's leading feminist activists in LA. She has guest lectured at Georgetown University, George Washington University, Towson University, and was a keynote speaker on feminism and photography during FotoWeekDC and Apple’s global flagship StoryMakers Festival.
