Light and the Absence of light are the main theme of this project, for me, it depicts life in its wholeness. Which is aligning with the reality of life as it is, aligning with its two polarities – the dark and light. Nothing in life can ever exist in one polarity alone; happiness can’t exist without sadness, hope without disappointment, peace without chaos, creation without destruction; just like the way shadows and light are co-dependent. Some of us struggle with reality because we are yet to make peace with its dark side; but if we allow it, and make peace with both the dark and light nature of life, only then can we be truly liberated.
