Hans Hochstöger (born 1982 in Austria) had his first encounters with photography at the age of 21 on a long trip to Brazil, where he worked with street children, lived in villages on the altiplano and took black&white analog pictures of his experiences. Coming back to Austria, he decided to become a photographer.
Finishing his studies in Vienna in 2008, he has since dedicated himself to editorial, documentary and commercial photography in Europe and the Middle East. In his personal projects, he concentrates on documenting one of todays big issues: migration.
