Currently based in New York, Harriet is a British documentary photographer, journalist, and filmmaker.
Publication credits include: HBO, VICE News, Smithsonian, BBC World, BBC News, CNN Money, CNN International, CNN Arabic, The Financial Times, Slate and ABC Australia.
A founding team member of HBO's VICE News Tonight, she has produced and directed global stories for the show , from the ongoing migrant crisis in Italy and the changing face of organised crime in Sicily; the struggle of Colombia's cocaleros caught in the political crossfire of the country's historic peace process; the Greek economic crisis; Hong Kong's democratic fight; to the US Army's Operation Atlantic Resolve, to strengthen defences across Europe's Eastern Flank.
With a background in international law and development, Harriet has spent the last six years working in public and private law - based in London, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands. She has previously worked for the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office in Madrid, the United Nations in Sri Lanka and leading law firms - Hogan Lovells and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a graduate of Oxford University, London College of Communication and Columbia Journalism School.
