Currently based in New York, Harriet is a British freelance journalist, videographer and photographer. Harriet has been actively reporting from Lesvos, Greece in late 2015 and early 2016 - covering the ongoing Syrian refugee crisis.
Publication credits include: BBC World, BBC News, CNN Money, CNN International, CNN Arabic, The Financial Times and ABC Australia.
With a background in international law and development, Harriet has spent the last six years working in public and private law - based in London, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands. She has previously worked for the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office in Madrid, the United Nations in Sri Lanka and leading law firms - Hogan Lovells and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Harriet holds a degree in modern history from the University of Oxford and is a lawyer of England & Wales. She is currently undertaking an M.A. in documentary photography and photojournalism at the London College of Communication and an M.S. in journalism at Columbia University.
