Hans Lucas
Lille, France
Author and photojournalist based in Lille.
Born in 1987 in Annecy.
Researcher in English literature by training, I started photography in 2017 joining the Hans Lucas studio and selling my first photographs to the french newspaper Libération with whom I collaborate occasionally.
I work with words and images in my personal projects such as 'Where the pine trees die', a poem-documentary written in Paris between 2015 and 2018 inspired by CENDRARS and MAC ORLAN's social fantasy, or 'Almanach 1915', a memory work in fragments addressing my maternal family's traumatic history.
More recently, I have started to address the idea of voicelessness with a series entitled 'Fish Tank Story' (2021).
Both teacher and photographer, I respond to commissions, pursue my personal projects and run workshops.
