I am an Australian born, London based documentary photographer and visual storyteller.
Much of my work takes an in-depth look at issues related to the marginalised and disenfranchised, particularly in developing countries. I aim to create a dialogue between the audience and the people who are making decisions which directly effect these people’s lives. My time is divided between personal (documentary) projects and editorial and commercial commissions, all undertaken with a documentary eye.
My background is finance and economics, having worked in the city of London for six years as a trader after graduating from university. Disillusioned by the many injustices that surrounded me, I decided to leave to follow my passion for photography, writing and social causes.
I have worked with a number of local and international NGO's for many years, dealing with, amongst other issues: domestic and sexual violence against women; homelessness; sex trafficking and disaster relief aid.
