Melbourne VIC 3004, Australia
I am an Australian documentary & portrait photographer and visual storyteller currently based between London, UK and Melbourne, Australia.
Much of my work takes an in-depth look at issues related to the marginalised and disenfranchised, particularly in developing countries. I aim to create a dialogue between the audience and the people who are making decisions which directly effect these people’s lives.
My background is finance and economics, having worked in the city of London for six years as a trader after graduating from university. Disillusioned by the many injustices that surrounded me, I decided to leave to follow my passion for photography, writing and social causes.
I now hold a Masters in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism from the University of Westminster. I have worked with a number of local and international NGO's for many years, dealing with, amongst other issues: domestic and sexual violence against women; homelessness; sex trafficking and disaster relief aid.
