Markus Heine is a german Berlin based reportage photographer and photojournalist. He finished his formal education as a photodesigner in 2013 with his thesis „Lunik IX“: In this photo reportage he portrays the living conditions in one of the biggest Roma ghettos in Slovakia. Since then his full time focus is on the societal, political and social issues of our time. His reportages, which he shoots in Germany, Europe and in the whole world reveal a deep insight into the history and the feelings emotional landscapes of the portrayed people. His images can be found in national and international publications like Stern, Spiegel, Zeit, taz and the Washington Post.
