Holly Lay

Holly Lay is a 2nd year MFA candidate at UNLV who received her BFA in photography and intermedia arts from Ball State University. She finds inspiration by mining the internet's digital archives, collecting and recontextualizing references to cyber culture, representation, femininity, and kitsch. She exhibits nationally and internationally, and her recent exhibition Drone Strike is featured in Concept 2018 at CICA, South Korea. The 2-channel video juxtaposes video game drone footage with real drone warfare footage that explores the desensitization of human life that robotic warfare creates.
