Over 20 years as an Art Director makes the difference in my work. You can learn the core skills as a photographer, but it’s having that great eye that really matters. I was lucky to work with many great photographers, and was smart enough to pay attention. It also taught me how to work with people, how to connect and put my subjects at ease, and how to get the job done! In the 6 years i’ve been photographing seriously, I’ve been fortunate to have much recognition, and hope this leads to more commissioned work, especially political and socially aware portraits. My 2 books about adults living with Cystic Fibrosis have now been published, and i am beginning work on a third.
