Jackie Molloy

Jackie is an award winning, internationally published visual journalist, currently based in New York City, working regionally. She is available for freelance work and will travel for assignments.
Since graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2016, her accolades include attending the the Eddie Adams Workshop as part of the class of XXVIII in 2015. In 2016 she was awarded a Yunghi Kim Grant for her story “A Family in Transition.” In 2019 and 2016 she was selected to attend the New York Times Portfolio Review. Currently she is participating in a three year program as a mentee to Jim Estrin and Ed Kashi. She also was selected as a 2018 Women Photograph mentee under Chelsea Matiash and Paula Bronstein.
Family is the root of Jackie's passion for storytelling. She enjoys exploring modern families overcoming adversities all over the spectrum. Topics ranging from transgender rights, fertility issues, foster care, and disability. Her photographs explore how these differences can mold and shape the dynamic of each family she meets.
Her clients include AARP, Elle Magazine, ESPN's The Undefeated, Duży Format, Metro UK, Narratively, Newsday, Smithsonian Magazine, The Globe and Mail, The New York Times, The Pew Research Center’s Trust Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.
In her spare time, Jackie can be found with her nose in a book, doing random dance moves, and exploring new places.
