Dynamic media producer who has produced, researched, shot, and edited investigative journalism stories for television and web on topics ranging from collapse of bee colonies stemming from use of insecticides, climate change and its impact on our economy, and links between illegal wildlife trade and terrorist group financing (Illicit Ivory) featured at a LA County Zoo “green carpet” premiere and in the LA Times, New York Times, Variety, and a number of reputable online outlets around the world. I have worked on a variety of creative projects and campaigns as both photographer and camera operator with a range of select clients from amateur and professional athletes including the NBA Players Association’s recent “Everyday Dad” campaign with creative agency Kworq, action sports leaders Dragon Alliance and Vuori Clothing, MacGillivray Freeman Films on two upcoming IMAX feature films, the Museum of Science Fiction, and the Boys and Girls Club. I have also produced recent photo essays profiling skilled laborers at night on the I-95 Hot Lanes project, the NYPD’s championship baseball team, boxing, track and field, as well as a story about a paralyzed Marine veteran and his pursuit of healing through adaptive sports.
Led, supervised, trained and equipped a specialized operational Marine Corps unit, comprised of highly-skilled, confident professionals in stressful and dynamic environments around the globe for three years, including deployments to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief following the earthquake in Haiti in 2010. SERE/hostile environment/resistance training, live tissue medical/trauma training and experience. Trained and experienced in facilitating results-oriented collaboration in stressful, time constrained environments. Socially and culturally conscious, independent, and proven communicator who has successfully completed some of the most mentally challenging and dynamic training the military and special operations community offers.
