JARED MOOSSY is an Austin, TX based photographer and cinematographer. He has worked as a photojournalist for numerous acclaimed publications such as Time Magazine, Stern Magazine, and Harpers. He was awarded a place in PDN 30's emerging photographer in 2009. Most recently, Moossy worked with HBO as the cinematographer for the series WITNESS. Produced by Michael Mann the series premiered at the 2012 Venice Film Festival to rave reviews.
Moossy graduated from Parson's School of Design in 2008. His focus is on the sociopolitical landscapes of countries in conflict. His expertise in still and motion pictures is a result of his cutting teeth in visual language.
