I am a Danish photo-journalist based in Denmark. I have won several awards for my photography: World Press Photo, World Understanding Award at POYi, National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) and received The Marty Forscher Fellowship Award. In 2011 I published my book Outcast – The Repressed People of Asia (www.forlagetajour.dk), which was a finalist at POYi and amongst the 25 books of the year at PDN.
