John Daly is a native of upstate New York. He has no formal art training, but rather studied political science at St. Lawrence University, Temple University and the University of Albany's Rockefeller College of Public Policy. His work has been appearing in major publications on a freelance basis since 1998. He also served as the editorial cartoonist for the Albany Times Union from 2005 to 2006. He resides in Saratoga Springs with three dogs, four children and one psychotically overachieving wife.
