After over 22 years working at a local paper Jeremy Hogan was laid off in January 2019, and is currently seeking freelance work. He began making photos of skateboarders in Jr. High School, and began his career as a stringer for the local newspaper in high school. His photography interests and projects have taken him to photograph Mongolian wrestlers, Grateful Dead concerts, a civil war in Ukraine, bus trips in Central America, Tibetan Exile communities in India, and various places in America in at least 40 of the 50 states. He is currently working on a feature length documentary about the Air Cavalry during the Vietnam War. And he has had a film on punk rockers featured in the Troma Film Festival. He works full-time for a small newspaper, and continues to work on his own photography projects on varied subjects, from Vietnam veterans, to underground music. His editorial video work is represented by Getty Images, and his editorial still photography by Polaris Images.

Flag Burning

Two opposing protesters fight over the American flag after members of a group called the Revolution Club, from Cleveland, that is a communist group, burned it outside the perimeter of Wells Fargo Arena on the final day of the Democratic National Convention. The protester on the right is a Trump supporter, and the other was a participant in protests against the Hillary Clinton and the DNC.
